Ren Zhao

Founder

Ren’s passion for construction first ignited during his university years, setting the stage for an impressive career in the industry. His journey commenced as a project coordinator with a local construction firm specializing in commercial renovations. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from Simon Fraser University, Ren embraced the role of an assistant construction manager, leading an ambitious $8 million industrial project in Sunshine Coast. This experience in the field proved invaluable, honing his expertise.
With a year spent dedicated to the successful completion of the Sunshine Coast project, Ren made a strategic move to the Lower Mainland. Here, he embarked on a new chapter by joining a prominent Vancouver-based real estate development firm. It wasn’t long before Ren ascended to the role of Director of Construction, where he oversaw a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from $600,000 to $130 million in construction costs.
Today, Ren brings his meticulous attention to detail to his role at NOC, collaborating closely with his dedicated team to chart an exciting future for the company. Alongside the entire North Oriental Construction team, Ren is committed to delivering the ultimate client experience.

Ethan Wang

Director of Operation

Ethan’s journey commenced at the University of British Columbia, where he earned his Bachelor of Applied Science with a specialization in Wood Product Processing. In 2012, he further solidified his commitment to the construction industry by obtaining his builder’s license. His dedication to education persisted as he pursued a multitude of construction-related courses at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
While still completing his university studies, Ethan embarked on his construction career. Upon graduating, he continued to make significant strides by overseeing the management of two multimillion-dollar projects in Vancouver. At a remarkable age of 25, he independently completed his inaugural single-family project—a magnificent 5,200 square foot custom residence situated in the prestigious Shaughnessy neighborhood of Vancouver. This accomplishment garnered widespread attention and trust from homeowners, leading him to undertake a portfolio of some of the most exquisite mansions throughout Vancouver’s Westside.
Ethan’s extensive knowledge in single-family construction has finely tuned his discerning eye for the minutest details. Craftsmanship always reigns as his foremost priority in every construction endeavor, and his unwavering pursuit of perfection continues to drive him to this day.

Daniel Yu

Senior Project Manager

In his role as Director of Projects, Daniel assumes the pivotal responsibility of ensuring the successful completion of all projects. This involves a meticulous review of project managers’ performance and strategic decision-making to uphold project adherence to proposed budgets and timelines.
Daniel’s educational journey began at Fort Hays State University in Kansas, where he laid the foundation for his career. To further refine his expertise, he pursued construction-related courses at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, bolstering his knowledge in the field. Additionally, Daniel has garnered multiple certifications from Procore, reflecting his dedication to professional growth.
His construction odyssey commenced at Rize Alliance Properties as a marketing associate. During this tenure, he contributed significantly to the development of homeowner manuals and conducted homeowner walkthroughs, ultimately discovering his deep-seated passion for construction. Recognizing his calling, Daniel transitioned into the construction department, initially as a construction safety officer, then swiftly ascending to the role of a construction project manager.
With an impressive career spanning over a decade in the multifamily residential construction industry, Daniel brings a treasure trove of expertise to NOC. His vigilant oversight ensures that all projects under his purview remain steadfast on the path to success, leaving no room for deviation.


Raymond Hsu

Site Superintendent

In the dynamic world of construction, few stories stand out quite like that of Raymond Hsu. With a humble beginning as a carpenter, Raymond embarked on a journey that would see him ascend the ranks, eventually assuming the role of Superintendent in our esteemed Revive project. His remarkable career is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence in the field. Mark Zheng

Project Coordinator

Mark Zheng is one such individual who has made an indelible mark in the construction industry. Having entered the construction world fresh out of university, Mark’s journey from a diligent project coordinator to his current role as a Junior Project Manager is nothing short of inspiring. With a portfolio of successful contributions to numerous single-family and small townhouse projects, Mark’s career trajectory embodies the spirit of growth and achievement. Jose Mendez Martinez

Site Superintendent

Originally hailing from Mexico, Jose Mendez Martinez embarked on a journey that led him to Vancouver, where he has carved a remarkable path in the industry. Throughout his career, Jose has donned several hats, from the meticulous precision of an interior carpenter to the diligent oversight of projects as an interior superintendent and crane operator, culminating in his role as a project superintendent. Today, we are privileged to introduce Jose Mendez Martinez, the astute leader overseeing our prestigious Dansey project, a testament to his unwavering dedication and expertise in the world of construction.


Will Wang

Project Manager

Joining our company in 2019, Will has been an invaluable asset, navigating the complex world of construction with a keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence. While overseeing our major renovation division, Will has consistently demonstrated his exceptional skill in tackling the most complicated small tasks with finesse. From the role of a special project manager, he has risen through the ranks, earning the respect and admiration of his peers and colleagues. Construction Safety Officer

Leo seamlessly transitioned into a pivotal role within our team following his graduation. As a key member, he assumes the crucial responsibility of ensuring the safety of our project. Beyond his expertise in safety protocols, Leo exhibits a remarkable proficiency in operating heavy machinery, including cranes and forklifts.
